Charity is an important part of Freemasonry and this Lodge has a proud record of charitable work.
At our December meeting the members donated a total nearing $500, the Lodge rounded the collection up to $500 and then matched it dollar for dollar $1,000.
To be added to this our Ara 348 I.C. Charities company has added a further $10,000. This brings the total donation to the Red Cross Society, from the Lodge, to $11,000.

The top Year 13 students from 25 of Auckland City's secondary schools received $1,250 each, at the annual 'Ara Fine Arts Awards' ceremony.
